CSIG appoints new Associate Fellows
In April we announced Nadja Milanova as our first Associate Fellow. We now welcome Ahmet Erdi Öztürk and Richard Austin. Photos and bios are on the CSIG website, in summary:
Erdi Öztürk, Reader in Politics and International Relations at London Metropolitan University, researches the intersection of religion, politics and international relations — religion’s role in foreign policy, conflict, peace processes, transnational politics, authoritarianism, diaspora and Turkish foreign policy. He has published in Open Democracy, The Conversation, HuffPost and France 24, and reports for the Berkeley Centre, RUSI and the Middle East Institute.
Richard Austin brings 20+ years spanning frontline international law enforcement plus senior consulting in defence, cyber, resilience and public-sector transformation (18 years with the National Crime Agency), leading programmes in the UK, Latin America, Africa and South Asia. Today he helps public- and private-sector organisations build resilience to cyber, social, political, environmental and physical threats.
